so i was a little worried that 20 years later, indiana jones wouldn't be able to come back with the same charm and wit and adventure as in times of yore...but i never should have doubted Indy. The newest movie is AWESOME!! absolutely as good, or better than the othes. i laughed. i cried. go see! go see NOW!

mama's day!

we had a great mother's day yesterday! i made mom (and dad) manicotti, and i'm so relieved to announce that it actually turned out...and tasted good! we went to church and i got to see 3 of my old friends with their new little families, and we got to hear a strangely depressing mother's day talk and of course, watch the little kids sing "mother i love you" while waving at their parents and picking their noses. glorious. then we watched Brian Regan's stand up DVD, which is ridiculously quotable and oh-so-funny. it was a great day!! (check out the beautiful top dad gave mama--and the glorious makeover i gave her)

big day at ASU

well, on Friday we experienced a whirlwind of activity, as it was graduation. we had a big to-do and were pretty pooped by the end of the day. you'll see that i was working extra hard sucking helium, playing with the cute little kids, and protecting the peace with my suction-dart gun. yes...yes...who's 28 years old?

mom and i got a chance to visit with G & G hillam on saturday. they had a layover at the phx airport and we snuck past security to see them at the gate. not really. we had special passes. or did we...?

our dear sweet grandma packed an entire carryon of FOOD, thinking that they wouldn't have anywhere to get food during the legs of their trip. she must've forgot that all airports have a PLETHORA of restaurants to choose from. maybe living with 10 kids taught her to think ahead in case of food emergencies. 'twas funny.

it's so nice working a couple blocks away from mama--we get to see each other all the time. i think we're kind of morphing into each other. haha! mama, you're so pretty!
