Dad, mom and I zoomed up to the beautiful (and windy!) St. George over the weekend to chill with G&G Stoddard and stuff ourselves with Grandma's special Easter Roast Beast. I haven't been to St. George since dad ran the marathon (21 years ago). It's a cute little place. i was quite impressed. anyway, we girls walked around an arts festival downtown, drove by the temple, went inside the gargantuan Blue Bunny ice cream emporium, and flew kites. of COURSE we had to play Phase 10, and there was much whining and wailing and gnashing of teeth. There was no swearing...instead, the word "Scratch" substituted for the night. Bull scratch. Chicken scratch. :) And Grandpa won. big surprise. anyway, it was a great time, and grandma sent us off with some of her trademark hot cakes & huckelberry syrup. that's right girls. i got some huckelberries in my tummy. glorious! i took a great video, but its pretty long, so who knows how long it will take to post. stay tuned. xoxo
