el festival de arts (or some such nonsense)

So mom and i walked around the tempe arts festival at lunch today. it was beautiful! i looked around for some flowers or blossoms or something springy to take pictures of, but guess what? nada. just cacti and trees. oh, and street bums. anyway, Kathryn here's a picture of the noodles you like. and mom with her kettle corn of course. spring is busting out all over! xoxo

Easter with Gramps & Grammie!

Dad, mom and I zoomed up to the beautiful (and windy!) St. George over the weekend to chill with G&G Stoddard and stuff ourselves with Grandma's special Easter Roast Beast. I haven't been to St. George since dad ran the marathon (21 years ago). It's a cute little place. i was quite impressed. anyway, we girls walked around an arts festival downtown, drove by the temple, went inside the gargantuan Blue Bunny ice cream emporium, and flew kites. of COURSE we had to play Phase 10, and there was much whining and wailing and gnashing of teeth. There was no swearing...instead, the word "Scratch" substituted for the night. Bull scratch. Chicken scratch. :) And Grandpa won. big surprise. anyway, it was a great time, and grandma sent us off with some of her trademark hot cakes & huckelberry syrup. that's right girls. i got some huckelberries in my tummy. glorious! i took a great video, but its pretty long, so who knows how long it will take to post. stay tuned. xoxo

Yay! mom and i had such a fun lunch! we went to Tempe Town Lake and flew kites. the weather is so flipping nice today. then again, its spring-time in Arizona; every day is nice. haha--all you suckers. :) so here are some pics, and i'm hoping i can get some videos on here. TGIF!
