More Peeves Please

a few pet peeves to share on this beautiful friday morning:

1) When people slow down when they see the Photo Radar van EVEN THOUGH they're not speeding. drives me crazy! say the speed limit is 45, and everybody's mosying along at 43. the police van comes into view and 15 sets of break lights go on! and there's no need! and now everybody's going even slower!

2) When a lane of traffic is closed for construction, and the cones start forcing people to merge like a 1/2 mile before the lane closes. Most people see that the right lane is closed ahead, so they get into the left lane and form a nice orderly (though slow moving) line. and then...what to our wondering eyes should appear? but one jerk, in an Escalade, who thinks he can shoot up the right lane to the very front of the bottleneck and sneak in. DEATH. APPOX ON THEM. almost as bad are the people who LET those cheaters in.

3) Never in my life, when i've been at a stop light, have i seen one set of blinkers blinking at the same time. EVER. i remember noticing this when i was in like 5th grade (i know...i've been anal for years now)...and never ever, will you see a set of blinkers going at the same time. its uncanny! watch! pay attention! let it drive YOU nuts for the next ten years!
