we had a great mother's day yesterday! i made mom (and dad) manicotti, and i'm so relieved to announce that it actually turned out...and tasted good! we went to church and i got to see 3 of my old friends with their new little families, and we got to hear a strangely depressing mother's day talk and of course, watch the little kids sing "mother i love you" while waving at their parents and picking their noses. glorious. then we watched Brian Regan's stand up DVD, which is ridiculously quotable and oh-so-funny. it was a great day!! (check out the beautiful top dad gave mama--and the glorious makeover i gave her)

Laura - you are a good cook! The manicotti was just what I've been wanting for weeks!! The fruit was divine and it was just wonderful hanging out all day w/ you. You spread sunshine where ever you are ~ I am so blessed to be your mother.

p.s. I love your blog playlist. Several months ago I found a "Remind Me" ringtone for Jeremy's phone as a special surprise. He loves it, and actually turns on his phone when he's at the airport to see if anybody catches on.
