Who's that girl?

That's what they were wondering at the Masquerade Ball when I put on my snazzy little number of a mask last night...it was a lot of fun! The "ball" was held at a beautiful reception place out in Mesa, and happily, about 75% of the people there had masks on. It was a lot of fun! I started giggling as we walked up to entrance and went "This is liberating! No one knows who I am!" Like that would stop me from having a good time. But still. You should try it sometime. The only bad thing was that the dance itself was in one of those large convention tents --decorated beautifully and with space heaters of course-- but my smidgeon of a cold has now developed into something full blown and hairy and wretched. Ugh. So, Happy New Year! Good things to look forward to in 2010...I can just feel it.

Angie's mask was kind of more like an exotic tribal headdress, but it got massive compliments. So fun!

Gorgeous faces in such mysterious masks. Wonder if your stroke of midnight prince charming is out looking for his cinderella?
